Our Founder

I am a lifelong entrepreneur, husband, father, grand father, community volunteer, and BBQ cook. I am from a small town in Arkansas and when I was 18 I decided I wanted to serve my country and joined the Marine Corps.

Some of my life’s fondest memories will come from the 8 years I spent serving my country. The people I met have become life long friends that I will enjoy knowing the rest of my life.

After getting out I used the GI Bil to go to college. I earned  a BS in Computer Information Systems and later on a MBA. Some where along the way I realized I had a selfless devotion to making the world a better place for all of us to enjoy. That’s when I started volunteering with my local government. Positions like planning and zoning and later on the city council. During my time there I realized that many small towns have the same needs as their larger counterparts, yet lack the funding to purchase the necessary tools. That’s when I realized I could use my skill set as a software industry professional to really make a difference. That’s when I decided to make Small City Software. Our single focus is to make software for cities under 30,000 people. We have developed a suite of tools Code Enforcer, Asset Manager, and Small City RMS. We are completely devoted to making enterprise level software at affordable prices for the smaller communities across America.
